In collaboration with a property developer, this distinguished Victorian residence underwent an extensive and highly considered renovation, with a focus on restoring original architectural features and enhancing the home’s spatial flow and functionality. Working in close collaboration with architects, we reconfigured the internal layout to optimise proportions and improve the connection between key living spaces. Throughout, significant attention was given to the restoration of period details, including the reinstatement of fireplaces, ornate cornicing, and ceiling roses.
The hallway and reception rooms, both benefitting from impressive ceiling heights, were refreshed to retain their historic elegance while accommodating modern living. A new kitchen was introduced, combining classic Victorian character with contemporary functionality. Bespoke dark navy cabinetry is paired with striking Calacatta marble worktops to bring both richness and light into the space. A tailored breakfast bar provides an elegant setting for informal dining. The bathrooms were entirely redesigned, integrating modern fittings within a timeless design language. Elsewhere, every room was thoughtfully updated to maintain architectural integrity while introducing comfort and refinement suited to a modern lifestyle.
